ANELACE Wall Hanging

Part of the Armaments Collection; inspired by ancient weaponry, the final part in the Medieval Trilogy.

The Armaments Collection wouldn't be complete without a sword! This is our first wall hanging, modelled after the namesake accoutrement worn on men's belts in the 14th century. This ornament took over 8 hours to weave from solid stainless steel. It was woven freeform, meaning there was no plan or pattern before starting, just an idea to get to. 

ANELACE is approximately 20cm in total, with the dagger being 16cm. The hanging ring has an inner diameter of approximately 11mm. Due to the nature of the weave there is a tiny amount of movement in all dimensions, so please take care when handling. For this reason we would not recommend it be worn on the body. To set the shape, press flat against a hard surface and wiggle the blade and hilt straight before hanging.

As this item is handmade there may be slight variations in appearance. Every effort is made to ensure the pictures are representative of the items, however lighting and screen quality may distort the appearance of the pieces. This product is not an actual weapon and is not intended to be used as one. Only one piece is available.
