BASTION I Pearl Necklace

Inspired by medieval Trace Italianne, this necklace mimics the shape of European Star Forts, specifically Palmanova in Italy (pictured). The architectural chainmail is dripping with vivid pearls, alternating between pink-toned teardrops and rainbow-toned four point stars. BASTION took many different forms before becoming fully realised, as I originally set out intending to make a different necklace. Check out the full journey on our social media pages.

BASTION is handmade from solid stainless steel and freshwater pearls. Only one necklace is available. The sizes differ slightly from our regular necklaces due to the nature of the weave. Larger sizes will be slightly more expensive as they will have more pearls. An alternative version (BASTION II) is also available with spike pendants.

As this necklace is handmade there may be slight variations in appearance. Every effort is made to ensure the pictures are representative of the items, however lighting and screen quality may distort the appearance of the pieces. As pearls are natural stones, there may be slight indentations, cavities and/or differences in colour on some stones. The exact style of components used in this design may vary based on stock availability.
